I'm a confused person now. Weekday or weekend? Breakeven or Loss? 1 day or 2 days? GCW or other venues? There are just too many things to think and worry about. Argh. If only we had gotten the date earlier....if only we had just block booked those dates...if only....

Was lamenting to Mike today that we are two unlucky souls. Where has our luck gone to? We have never been successful in hdb ballots, had a little financial hiccup, was denied the chance of a promotion and now this. I don't have a good feeling about my driving test next week. Keeping my fingers crossed! I so badly wanna pass. Pls let me pass!!

Utt was as usual uber cute. Michelle's such an easy going person. Love chatting with her. Andrea's extremely tall that I feel like a dwarf standing next to her. Hard to believe that she's only 22 cos of the way she carries herself. I was pretty excited about this photoshoot as this is the first time we are doing an outdoor shoot.The 3 of them really look good together and the pictures turned out awesome! Do look out for the print ads come July/Aug. :)

Mum and Dad returned from their trip on Thurs morning. Think they were having abit of jet lag. Uploaded the pictures for them and I must say there are some really good ones. I wanna go Holland and Germany too!

Celebrated Sis's birthday on Friday at Summer Pavilion, Ritz Carlton. Mike decided to skip class after all to make it for the dinner. Wah...you really give my sister 'mian zi' hor? hehe. Went KBox with Sis on Sat night. Spent almost an hour singing our fav GH songs. haha. Cannot tahan.

Father's Day today! Bought Levi's vouchers for dad as mum was nagging some time back that he didn't have a decent pair of jeans. Heh. Went for dinner at Bottleneck Tree with auntie angie, uncle mark, sam and mel. It has been a long time since we had dinner together though. Mel kena suan-ed a few times about her tendency to fall asleep when it comes to studying. Damn funny. :)

Oh we went to the geomancer today. The big day should be in Nov 08. :)

Am going to Cafe Del Mar tomorrow for a photoshoot with Utt, Michelle and Andrea. But it's not a bikini shoot though. More like a smart casual and glamourous kind of concept. Can't wait cos it'll be fun! The photographer, the stylist, the hair stylist and makeup artiste are all gonna be there. I love watching them style the artistes. So I'm just gonna sit and watch tomorrow and get a tan at the same time! These are one of the two perks of this job. The other is free movies! Have not paid for a movie for the longest time. However, decided to forgo Fantastic Four today. Not my kind of movie. Plus Mike wanted to study....but ended up falling asleep most of the time!

Shopped at AMK Hub Mall after driving. Shucks. I'm on a shopping spree mood. I bought 4 tops and 2 pairs of shoes. I've not bought anything since my trip to BKK so I guess I feel a little deprived. Ha. At least I'm not an impulsive shopper. And most of the stuff I buy are below $30. So Mike, don't start nagging at me k. Heh.

Went for Oceans 13 premiere at VivoCity. Our seats were damn lousy. Second row from the front. Almost had a stiff neck and Mike said he felt like puking. It was THAT bad. Anyway, the show was more eye candy for me than the plot itself. Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon. What more could you ask for? :) Shucks. And I fell asleep at some parts. I really cannot watch movies after work lah. Bound to fall asleep at some point!

Oh and I finally went to sign up for broadband today. Yes yes, I think I'm the only one still using the ancient dial-up service! Haha. But it will only be activated next Tue. Crap. Still can't understand why they need to take so long to activate it! My new HP Pavilion Slimline is still sitting on my table waiting for me to use it but I can't!! Irritating! Tue faster come please.

Sent Dad and Mum to the airport last Wed nite for their 2 week trip to Europe, mainly Holland, Germany, Czech, Austria and Belgium. How shiok is that! Mum's luggage was super duper heavy! Think she packed almost her whole room into the luggage. Ha. Went for coffee at Starbucks first since it was still early. And THOSE people just had to spoil my mood. Complain is all they know. Finger pointing is what they are best at. Go FO.

After my parents boarded, went to sis's place for mahjong. And at 1am, the guys ordered 20 pc nuggets, 1 McSpicy, 1 Fish Fillet and fries from Macs. That was utterly disgusting. I felt like a pig. I seriously need to start my exercise regime again. Oh and I was the biggest winner for the night! Pocketed $1.60. Yes, you heard me right. $1.60 :)

Thursday was a public holiday. Woke up at almost noon and got ready to go to the PC show. It was freaking crowded. As expected. I wouldn't have gone if not for the fact that I had to get a new PC. In the end, I couldn't decide which to get. A desktop or a laptop. So I left empty-handed. Met Cheryl and Mike for drinks later in the night.

My colleagues suggested going to Waterloo Street to pray during lunch time on Fri. Cos one of them was due for an interview on Sunday so she needed as much blessings as possible! Think I need it soon too. :) Met Noelle for dinner after work at Parkway Parade and shopped for a while before sitting down at Starbucks to bitch about work. Heh. Oooh..and I finally get to sit in her new white Audi TT! It's really quite a gem. I like. And it was funny how a Peugeot tried to get Noelle to race with him. She says it happens quite often and she tries her best to avoid looking at them. Ha!

Live The Dream auditions was held during the weekend at HDB Hub. Turnout was pretty good and we really do have really excellent singers out there. Credit must be given to those uncles and aunties in their 60s and 70s who are so sporting and sincerely keen on joining the competition. They have their dreams too you know. I really got to see people from all walks of life at the auditions - there was a cardiologist, a 70 yr old uncle who was dressed in a smart white suit, a lawyer, a taxi-driver, a tai-tai... you name it. And they were there for just one purpose - a shot at stardom. Whether or not they succeed, at least they tried living their dream.

I doubt I have the guts.
