Ok i'm feeling guilty two weeks in a row. This time for missing classes at Amore. Was all set to go for my usual workout last Sat and I had to have my lousy cramps. Feeling slightly lethargic oredi for not exercising, I was all the more determined to go for my usual Wed workout. And wth, I caught the flu bug! Despite my runny nose and tired eyes, I told myself to just go ahead. But I guess the flu got the better of me and decided to head home instead. Weekends are pretty packed so it's quite impossible to squeeze in time. Guess it's gonna be more intensive workout next week then.

Hmm...Why do I get the feeling that I'm always whining in my blog entries?

Anyway, met up with my Ch 5 babes on Monday to celebrate Grace's and Shanice's birthday. Grace was again late as usual because of work (Ch 5 is seriously exploiting her!) so we headed for sushi first and coffee later. I miss the girls. I miss the morning gossip cum coffee sessions. I miss lunching with them. I miss the fun. But it's not like i'm not enjoying my job now.

I feel fat. And guilty for not being able to stick to my healthy diet last week. Not that i ate stuff that were extremely sinful but i can't help but be paranoid. I chose grilled cod fish during a random treat by a colleague , grilled fish fillet at a farewell lunch, spicy miso ramen for Fri dinner, half a pizza and snacks on Sat night, noodle soup on Sun and sushi at a bday dinner last nite. Didn't help that my bowels aren't exactly working very well either. Damn. It's gonna be more salads, soup stuff and workouts from this week onwards.

Anyway, some pics at a Jap restaurant at Riverside Point.

Speaking of Jap, went for my first Jap class on Sunday with Mike. Our trainer is a jolly Japanese fella who has been living in singapore for the past 30 years and he speaks abit of Chinese, Hokkien and Cantonese as well! He's quite funny and has interesting bits of Jap culture to share. Looking forward to the next lesson. In the meantime, the following keeps ringing in my head. He made us repeat it like a thousand times.

A: Watashi Wa Shingapo-ru Jin Desu.

A: Anata Mo Shingapo-ru Jin Desu Ka?

B: ii ei, Watashi Wa Maleishia Jin Desu.

A: A, So Desu Ne.

B: Hai

I've never had diarrhoea for the longest time and it hit me last week quite badly. The stomach discomfort, the bloatedness and the nausea combined together was a killer. Lost my appetite and heh, some weight too. Asked the doctor if it had anything to do with my 5-day salad diet but she said it's fine, nothing wrong with it. Phew. My colleagues laughed at me for having too much fibre in my diet, hence my LS-ing. Evil. The ironic thing was my mum had difficulty clearing her bowels the first few days after her piles surgery while I was there purging. Us poor souls! Great that mum is now recovering well too.

I think watching what I eat, workouts at Amore, body treatments and lifting weights while watching tv are paying off quite well. My pants are actually looser now! How I wish my flabby arms can be toned quickly! Tips anybody? 3 more months before the photoshoot. But I secretly believe I can do it. :)

My secondary school fren who just got married sent me a weight loss diet for 7 days. It is designed for a target weight loss of 5 to 6 kgs per week. Here goes:

Day 1:
All fruits except bananas. Your first day consist of all fruits you want. It is suggested you consume lots of melons the first day esp watermelon and cantaloupe.

Day 2:
All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the raw and cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount of type. Avoid oil and coconut while cooking vegetables. Have large boiled potato for breakfast.

Day 3:
Any mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount, any quantity, no bananas yet and no potatoes today.

Day 4:
Banana and milk. Today you will eat as many as 8 bananas (8!!!!!!!!!) and drink 3 glasses of milk. You can also have 1 bowl of vegetable soup.

Day 5:
Today is feast day. You will eat 1 cup of rice. You also have to eat 6 whole tomatoes and drink 12 glasses of water today to cleanse your system of the excess uric acid you will be producing.

Day 6:
Today is another all vegetables day. You must eat 1 cup of rice today and eat all the vegetables you want, cooked or uncooked, in your hearts content.

Day 7:
Today your food intake will consist of 1 cup of rice, fruit juice and the vegetables you care to consume. Tomorrow morning you will be 5 to 8 kg lighter than 1 week ago. If you desire further weight loss repeat the program again. However, it is suggested that you rest for 3 days before every repetition.

I believe this is a detoxifying and cleansing diet. It actually worked for my friend and according to her, no side effects. I'm tempted to try but abit lazy! Anyone game? But strictly not for those who are already very slim and right now reading my blog. You know who you are. Better don't try huh.
