Just sent mum and dad off to the airport. They should be on the plane now to Korea. Super envious. Quite annoyed that I'm most likely not able to go for the travel event in Moscow because there was an OVERWHELMING RESPONSE. Don't give me that bull. You guys obviously don't give a damn about us and we were never the priority. How else do you expect us to build brand awareness and bring in more tourists if you shut us out from these overseas events. You'd better include us for the one in London in Nov. Am yearning to go for a short holiday though. Taipei, Hongkong or Bangkok?

Wedding photoshoot would have been today. Photographer had some schedule clash so we postponed it to 30 July. Great. More time for me to tone up (obviously not happening!) and research on the shoot styles I like. Am worried about how i'll look in the photos cos i'm not exactly photogenic and i suck at poses and most importantly, i only look good in certain angles. damn. why can't i just have a model-like face. haha.

Shape Run on Sunday with the cousins. Am disappointed with my timing though it was slightly better than last year. Could have done better. Nvm, there's always next year. But it was indeed fun doing it together with the gals and it was a chance for us cousins to bond, sweat and stink together! :)

Little Oli's Hello Kitty Garden Party was totally awesome. All thanks to her kitty-fanatic mummy! haha. Almost everyone was game enough to turn up in pink! The awesome hello kitty cake that was just too pretty to eat got everyone oohing and aahhing. The cousins, as usual camwhored like nobody's business. Let the pictures do the talking.

Mum's official retirement started 1 July and we all took leave to spend a day with her. I need a little break myself too! Headed for hi-tea at Marriott and thereafter the Singapore Flyer. All thanks to my company, we were able to take the Singapore Flyer absolutely FOC. Same goes for the other tourist attractions. So if you folks wanna save some money, date me! ;p













We got for mum awfully awesome Awfully Chocolate cake and lovely flowers on her last day of school.

Exactly 3 weeks to my wedding photoshoot. And I'm getting a little flustered. Ok, VERY.

Weight loss yes, but toned arms and legs a big no-no! (Despite my weight-lifting workouts). Wedding shoes still yet to be found. Spent many weekends in town to find absolutely nothing. Hair is in a mess, esp my bangs. Now that they have grown longer, it's so hard to manage! Pimple-prone face. Exactly the same old spot. Wth. I need good skin for the photoshoot pls. Absolutely no idea yet where to go for our outdoor photoshoot. Portsdown Rd might be one option. That was where me and Mike first met (at Temasek Club). heh.

Anyway, am going for my final fitting and trial makeup next Tue. Can't wait.
No idea why, but am a little nervous though. Dunno how it will turn out!
Meeting up with my photographer the Tue after next as well to discuss the concept/style of the photoshoot. I kinda fancy the fashion glamour style but judging from me and Mike's so-not-photogenic looks, I doubt we can pull it off.

Lady Luck seems to be shining on Mike recently and that's really something to cheer about. Took the opportunity to treat his family and my parents to Lemongrass last weekend, as well as to discuss stuff about the wedding. Both our parents were actually discussing where we should go for honeymoon! And they kind of concluded - US it is. Haha.

Speaking of which, I might need to go London in Nov for a trade event. Might consider going there for honeymoon instead since it's gonna be free airfare and accomodation. Oh and I'm most likely going to Moscow in Sep too for a trade event. Will take the chance to make a trip down to St Petersburg too. Am pretty excited about it! It'd better materialize.

Mum's first day of retirement officially starts today and Dad, Sis and me took leave to celebrate and spend the day with her. Shall post pics of our family day out in my next entry.
